PRETTY MOTHER NATURE

PRETTY MOTHER NATURE

Early morning,

The sway of the branches and whistling,

Of the winds relaxed me,

The beauty of the trees,

Sit and take closer look,

At the dancing leaves,

The beauty of the trees,

The clouds break forth the streams of light,

To dance upon earth,

And cradled in the sands of time,

Mountain peaks that touch the sky,

Little black birds flying by,

The moving water at their priest like task,

Of pure ablution round the earth’s human shore,

To feel for ever its soft fall and swell,

Awake forever in a sweet unrest,

Still I can still hear..

The tender taken breath,

And so live ever

Memories are nurtured forever.

The Jumblies

They went to sea in a ship, they did,
In a ship  they went to sea:
In spite of all their friends could say,
On a winter's morn, on a stormy day,
In a ship they went to sea!
And when the ship turned round and round,
And every one cried, `You'll all be drowned!'
They called aloud, `Our ship ain't big,
But we don't care at all! we don't care at all!
In a ship we'll go to sea!'
Far and few, far and few,
Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue,
And they went to sea in a ship.

They sailed away in a ship, they did,
In a ship they sailed so fast,
With only a beautiful pea-green sail Tied with to the mast by way of a sail,
To a small steel mast;
And every one said, who saw them go,
`O won't they be soon upset, you know!
For the sky is dark, and the journey is long,
And happen what may, it's extremely wrong
In a ship to sail so fast!'
Far and few, far and few,
Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue,
And they went to sea in a ship.

The water it soon came in, it did,
The water it soon came in;
So to keep them dry, they wrapped their feet
In a pinky sweater all folded neat,
And they put it on .
And they passed the night in a deck,
And each of them said, `How wise we are!
Though the sky be dark, and the journey be long,
Yet we never can think we were rush or wrong,
While round in our ship  we spin!'
Far and few, far and few,
Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue,
And they went to sea in a ship.

And all night long they sailed away;
And when the sun set,
They whistled and sang a moony song
To the echoing sound of a coppery gong,
In the shadow of the mountains .
`O Timballo! How happy we are,
When we live in a ship and a deck,
And all night long in the moonlight pale,
We sail away with a pea-green sail,
In the shadow of the mountains brown!'
Far and few, far and few,
Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue,
And they went to sea in a ship.

They sailed to the Western Sea, they did,
To a land all covered with trees,
And they bought an Owl, and a useful Cart,
And a pound of Rice, and a Cranberry Tart,
And a hive of silvery Bees.
And they bought a Pig, and some green Jack-daws,
And a lovely Monkey with lollipop paws,
And forty bottles of Ring-Bo-Ree,
And no end of Stilton Cheese.
Far and few, far and few,
Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue,
And they went to sea in a ship.

And in twenty days they all came back,
In twenty days or more,
And every one said, `How tall they've grown!
For they've been to the Lakes, and the Torrible Zone,
And the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
And they looked worn out, and gave them a feast
Of dumplings made of beautiful yeast;
And every one said, `If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a ship,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few,
Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue,
And they went to sea in a ship.

Edward Lear

A very positive group of people went out to the big world. Even though they have been warned that they will face a lot of problems during their journey but in spite the small boat with the hole, they did not bother of what people say. The swirling water is referring to the hardship that they went through during their journey.

In spite what people say, they managed to sail their lives through many beautiful memories. Nobody think they will come back safely from the journey because the sea was getting rougher and rougher along their way. This means that they were facing hardship through their journey but even though people doubt of what there are doing, they managed to find ways to continue trying to chase their dreams.

All the hardship that they went through motivates them and boost up their spirit to work even harder to ensure that their dreams will come true.

After all the pains that they went through they want a valuable lesson on how to make life happier and meaningful. They have a strong believe that they successfully made it. They stand with their believe s and follow their instinct. They strengthen that they put in during the journey made them even stronger to face hardship in their lives.

In the end all those people who criticized them were happy to see them returned home safely. In this poem, the valuable message that the poet is trying to highlight is that if we have the confidence no matter how hard it is they will struggle and get rid of problems failure is those who just sit without doing anything. Life will still goes on and even at times people ignore, laugh and teased them but they will keep on fighting and finally they were able to achieve their dreams.
